Kansas City Soccer Club Merges with Kansas City Surf Soccer Club, Joins Surf Nation
KANSAS CITY, MO — Kansas City Soccer Club (KCSC) is proud to announce that, effective immediately, it has officially merged with Kansas City Surf Soccer Club and will be joining Surf Nation—one of the most recognized and respected youth soccer networks in the United States.
This exciting partnership brings expanded opportunities, elite resources, and a unified vision for youth development to players and families in Lee’s Summit and the surrounding communities. With this move, all KCSC operations and teams will transition under the Kansas City Surf brand moving forward.
“After researching all clubs, we easily chose the best and brightest brand in youth soccer in America by connecting with Kansas City Surf,” said Zoran Savic, Owner of KCSC. “We’re thrilled to become part of Surf Nation and provide our players with unmatched development pathways, national exposure, and a culture rooted in excellence.” Zoran Savic, who was the assistant Coach for Sporting Kansas City for 16 years in the MLS, will join the executive board of Kansas City Surf.

We are very excited to connect to the Lees Summit community and build a strong base out of our new Missouri headquarters at Z Sports. We are committed to maintaining the base of players and coaches at this facility and growing the Surf brand in the Lee’s Summit and Eastern Kansas City markets.”

Kansas City Surf will continue to provide the best player development experience, pathway, and opportunities in the community. Top players from Kansas City Surf will also have direct access to Surf Select, an elite identification program powered by Surf Nation.
