SPECIAL NOTE….For the 2010 age group, some of the players are going to be freshman and some will be 8th grade. This is a hybrid year. This means the boys will play high school in the fall and the girls in the Spring. The HS boys will join Surf directly after their season is over in October and the girls will join their high school teams in March. They can NOT do both, however, 2010 Freshman can forgo their high school season and play with Kansas City Surf for the entire year with the same additional fee as 8th graders. For all 8th grade players, there will be an invoice added to their account of $300 to cover the time when the other high school players are gone.

During tryouts teams are selected based on the full birth year and offers received are based on the high school fee structure. This is the players primary club team (Boys, Nov-May; Girls, Aug-Feb). Players that are in eighth grade will be assigned a “Hybrid” team during the season which conflicts with their teammates’ high school season (Boys = Fall; Girls = Spring). Those players will have an additional flat fee of $300 billed separately for their club hybrid season. The $300 fee covers coaching, league, practice fields, and two local events. Given the depth our club has, we are able to provide a great “hybrid” season for our players with multiple teams.
